Context
Delmain is a digital marketing agency in Portland, Oregon, supporting more than 200 dental practices across the US. Every client website is a production business, where broken forms or rendering issues can directly impact patient inquiries. I joined as a Web Developer in November 2024.
My role
I maintained and extended more than 70 production WordPress websites built with Divi, Elementor, WPBakery, Avada, Gutenberg, and custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My work included responsive fixes, UI improvements, landing pages, plugin updates, form integrations, and ongoing maintenance across multiple client websites.
Challenge
Publishing changes across dozens of websites was a repetitive manual process. Every deployment required QA, communication with account managers, and careful verification. Forms were especially critical because SMTP issues could prevent patient inquiries from reaching clients without any visible error.
Outcome
I automated repetitive publishing steps and QA tasks while standardizing SMTP integrations across client websites. The workflow became more consistent, form delivery was verified instead of assumed, and repetitive manual checks were significantly reduced.
Impact
- Reduced repetitive QA and publishing work across production websites.
- Helped identify form delivery issues before they affected clients.
- Improved consistency across deployments and maintenance tasks.
- Allowed more time to be spent on development instead of repetitive operational work.
